With this sort of thing I always find myself wondering how large it is and how exactly the pilot fits into it, because you can only really have mech suits above and below a certain size. Either small enough to wear as a regular suit, or large enough that they can fit entirely in the torso, otherwise there's some serious contorting going on and the very likely possibility of snapped limbs.

It's why Samus Aran's power suit hurts my head a bit sometimes.

In E27, Pat sits inside the torso. His arms and legs are inside the suit's torso. The suit's arms and legs, and weapon systems are all controlled by his thoughts (as read by his helmet). The STRIPES is 12 feet tall.

I believe S.T.R.I.P.E.S. was remotely controlled by Stargirl's dad (unless Earth-27's version is different)!

That could be true, as the only version I'm familiar with is the DCAU version where he piloted the suit himself. I know virtually nothing of him or Stargirl in the comics.

In the comics Stargirl's joined the Justice Society of America, and her dad remotely piloted STRIPES (as a way of keeping an eye on her).  The version I'm most familiar with has her taking the name Stargirl's after inheriting Starman's power staff.

With the JSA returning in Rebirth, it'll be interesting to see if she and STRIPES also return.

Wouldn't surprise me. Stargirl was part of the JSA in the Arrowverse.

Hmm..I am not exactly sure I see "Iron Patriot" when I see this...The original S.T.R.I.P.E suit was more bulky and I would think of Frankenstein Jr ( google him if you don't know...) and other Mechs of the era, articulation at the major joints, but very limited mobility elsewhere, But this suit gives a more meaner profile and keeps the oversized mech look as well...I like it awesome work as always!

Why does he look an iron man cause S.T.R.I.P.E. never really had much armor but I love the body it fits the face looks like iron man mask and also he doesn't have a lot of armor but that's ok

Almost any mechanized hero is tagged as "Iron Man"-ish. No one ever says "Iron Patriot" is a STRIPE rip-off, despite STRIPE being almost 10 years older than that particular Iron Man suit. In this case, yes, we blended some Iron Man designs into STRIPE to create "S.T.R.I.P.E.S." (the extra S added for a reason).
Though, I am not sure what you mean when you say he doesn't have a lot of armor. Look at the size of his hands alone... or his torso in comparison to his head. He is armored up to wazoo!

As for specs...
The suit is made of a high-density ceramic composite outer shell, a bunch of top shelf military grade hardware, and state of the art STAR Lab weaponry. It can withstand anything but a direct missile hit (and even then it might manage to still be able to have limited functionality).
The suit can is able lift many times its own weight and can run at speeds of 200 MPH without tiring the pilot. The pilot, Pat Dugan, actually sits inside the torso of the suit with the arms and legs of the suit responding to mental commands (as translated by the suit's special helmet).
Weaponry includes several variable energy cannons (one on each wrist) and a 360 degree turret on the shoulder, a second turret with micro-missiles with a built in missile reloader/warhead exchanger (with internal munitions storage with a variety of warhead types: nets, foam, flak, EMP, high-explosive, tear gas, et cetera), and jet assisted flight boots with a stabilizer engine on the back of the suit.
The suit also has internal climate control, integrated repair hardware and tools, and a communication package with loudspeaker, cellular transmission interception hardware, and frequency jamming tech. It also has a cup holder.

Probably Batwing or STRIPES. Both of the owners of those suits are military trained crimefighters but at least they're not Batman. You don't want to jack the Dark Knight's mechanized threads.
